The Bloom Outreach Program is one of many programs from Bloom Education Fund, a nonprofit organization that focuses on holistic youth development. Bloom Outreach Program’s goals are twofold: First, to help non-English speaking students from disadvantaged families improve their English. Second, to facilitate cultural exchange between teenagers with different cultures and backgrounds. Our program uses 1-on-1 video conference lessons as well as summer camps to connect students with tutors and achieve our goals.
Our students are from rural China, where there are fewer educational opportunities available to them. However, they are all dedicated, eager, and promising people. That’s why we know that with Bloom Outreach Program’s help, we are making a positive difference in their lives. We are proud to teach and learn from them.
Currently, our team consists of 100+ tutors in 5 different countries. Through an interview process, we make sure that our team consists of self-motivated, committed, and responsible tutors. Our tutors are driven by an enthusiasm to teach and help. If you become a tutor you will teach for one hour a week, attend regional meetings, and reflect on your tutoring experiences.
