By joining the Bloom Outreach Program, not only are you helping young students less fortunate than you, you will be improving yourself in a multitude of ways! For one, by tutoring your student, you will be strengthening your own Chinese and English. In addition, you will be learning to practice your patience and learn the qualities of teaching through experience. You also get volunteer service for tutoring. Additionally, you can sponsor a student or even go to the BOP camp in the summer.

Interested in Applying?

In order to join the program, you should have adequate knowledge of Chinese and English. If you have both, you should contact an admin member corresponding to your region. You will then be placed in an interview usually with two interviewers and a few other interviewees. We will be interviewing you about who you are, your reasons for wanting to join, and your Chinese and English proficiency. We will notify you of your admittance within a week of the interview. You will then start your training which will take around 2-3 weeks, and after that, you will be able to teach.
